Tony Dougherty (3) returned a gross one over par 73 to win the March Rivoli Monthly Medal. Dougherty swept the competition aside with a brilliant performance in difficult conditions where strong winds and poor visibility tested the resolve of the competitors. The Champion was very consistent from Tee to Green, a trade mark of his game and with his putter behaving on the greens he was tough to beat. Dougherty ran out victor by a clear four shots from Doug McLennan (3) while posting an outward nine of 37 and an inward half of 36 including 2 birdies on holes 13 and 15 on his way to the winning score.
Dougherty commented after his round We appreciate the support from Rivoli making this the premier event for the members to play in every month.
The division A Net title belonged to Jim Prescott (4) with a Net 70, edging out Aziz Salem (10) by 2 shots.
In division B Simon Crane (20) just came up short in his bid to claim back to back titles when he lost in a count back to Tony Grayling, both players scored net 70.
In the Ladies Division Ashley Anderson (15) won the Net with a 67 and Adele McKelvey (7) won the Ladies Gross title with a brilliant 76.
