Men’s Fourball Club Matchplay Championship 2011/12
Dear Member, Welcome to the Men’s Four-Ball Club Matchplay Championship. The format is a match in which two players play their better ball against the better ball of two other players. The handicap index of all four players is reduced by the player with the lowest handicap, who then plays from scratch. Each of the three other players is allowed 100 percent of the difference. Eg. Players A, B, C and D have a handicap of 5, 10, 15 and 20. Player A plays at scratch, B receives 5 strokes, C receives 10 strokes and D 15 strokes. Matches are played from the Blue Stones not the Blue Tee markers on the day.
The top names listed in each match are the challenger and they are responsible for contacting and arranging the match, however either team must make contact within 10 days following the updated draw. Entries are on a first come first serve basis and will close once the event is fully subscribed. Entry fee is Dhs 60.00 per player. Cart fees applicable and green fees as per the player’s membership category. Any member who is posted in the draw for this Championship then terminates his membership will be charged the entry fee.
