Alex began playing golf at the age of 7 years old and from there his passion for the game and helping others to improve has grown. His Professional career began in 2012 at Royal County Down Golf Club in Northern Ireland. In 2016 he moved to the UAE following his passion for coaching. Alex’s main focus during lessons is to keep them fun and informative with the goal of making the game more enjoyable for those already playing the game and those who are new to it.
One of the only female coaches in the Middle East, Jessica is a unique asset to the Academy. A golfer from a very early age, she is as focused as she is skilled. Her favourite golfer is Martin Kaymer. She loves his determination and attitude. She won the Sunningdale trophy in 2012 and counts it as her favourite course. When she’s not on the greens you will find her enjoying cooking, watching cinema or socialising.
Best advice: Stay in the present and play one shot at a time.
A born sportsman, Lloyd has represented his country at football, rugby and cricket. But golf has always been his first love. No wonder he went on to become one of the youngest lead golf coaches in UK before moving to Dubai. And we couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the Academy. One of the only Aimpoint coaches in the Middle East, Malcolm is an advanced PGA professional. Having made a start in golf at the age of 12, he has immense expertise and experience. He counts Sergio Garcia as his favourite player and the Muirfield course in Scotland as his favourite course.
